Focusing TipsAlthough focus is really part of your exposure calculations, I will cover it here at the part where you get to actually work with your camera. Always focus on the eyes of your subject and try to make sure that you are using an aperture large enough to keep most of the head from the tip of the nose to the backs of the ears in focus. If you have a camera with adjustable focus points, this can be very helpful. I usually place one of the focus points in my Nikon F100 on the eye closest to me for focus. |
